Summer Garden — Week 1
Not too long ago, Lynn and I were at Trader Joe’s and I got some vine ripe tomatoes and they were wonderful. They were very tasty with some fresh mozzarella, basil and splash of balsamic vinegar.
The part that was not so good was the tomatoes were a little on the expensive side. So I decided that I should grow some.
Here is the first week. We do not have a formal garden area so I am growing them in pots on the deck. I found Bonnie Plants has a wealth of information for those, like me, who are first time veggie growers.
Here are some nice herbs too!
I can’t wait to see the fruits of your labor! Now we must cross our fingers that the squirrels don’t notice the outdoor smorgasbord. 🙂
Soon you’ll have more tomatoes than you know what to do with. By the way, nice deck furniture 🙂
